The Nanaimo Fringe Festival takes place annually in August on Central Vancouver Island, on the traditional territory of the Snuneymuxw people. As a member of the Canadian Association of Fringe Festivals (CAFF), the festival contributes to the growth of Canadian theatre by supporting both emerging and established artists.
I created the festival design and materials for the 2024 Nanaimo Fringe Festival to showcase the diverse range of artists and performances. The festival design reflects a vibrant and energetic spirit, with a handcrafted touch. At the same time, I organized the programme guide’s layout in a clear and accessible manner, ensuring that attendees can easily find and navigate the festival’s offerings.
Throughout the design process, I worked closely with the client. The festival design involved creating the festival poster, the programme guide, and a variety of web and print materials.
I have collaborated with various festivals, designing festival guides for Berlin’s 48h Neukölln and the Victoria Film Festival. Additionally, I created a festival trailer for the Available Light Film Festival.
